Renault Laguna Ecu SIRIUS 32 replacement

Postby chebhou » Mon Sep 28, 2015 7:49 pm

The ECU on Laguna 1.6L 16V 2003 has been damaged physically ( ECU : SIRIUS 32 N ) and after looking for replacement I found SIRIUS 32 ( not 32 N ) is this ECU compatible with this car ? also there will be a problem of the immobilizer : can this ECU ( sirius 32 ) be decoded without emulator or special tools ? I mean would it be done just by desoldering the flash and modifying it ?
my plan was to desolder the flash memory from the old ECU and solder it onto the new one but I'm afraid they are not identical ( 32 and 32N )

the old ECU :

any hints, helps , suggestion is welcome .

Yes i belive you bought immo off ecu, also i would like to remind that those ecus can be easily read/write in boot, so there is no need to desolder 29f200...
