Hello tuners!

I am a veteran ECU tuner from the custom /aftermarket ECU world (Motec, Haltech, DTA, Electromotive, Megasquirt, etc).
Most of my expertise is with gasoline road racers (na piston, turbo piston, turbo rotary ). Some experience with turbo street cars. Some experience with mechanical and piggyback turbodiesel tuning.

I own a BiTDi VW 2.0 (AMAROK). Also have many friends / potential customers.
It´s been stock for years, now I am trying to find a way to up the power a bit and disable the EGR.
I´ve been getting quotes from tuners on the web using the Alientech Powergate 3+ tool. However, since I already know about engine management, I would like to learn to do it myself.

Thanks!

Hi mate removing the EGR from these are pretty simple, These are Bosch EDC17, so with original tools you are able to flash these via eobd. there are 2 Hyst maps normally 20x1 and if you want to remove plugs you need to dissable the DTC as well.
