Problems with a Grande Punto Abarth

Postby fil89n2 » Sat Aug 16, 2014 5:37 pm

Hi friends, how are you?
I'm having some problems with a Grande Punto Abarth. It had a lot of upgrade as turbo (TD04), injector (kit esseesse), and all sensor of GP abarth SS, Pop off Bonalume.
Now i can't understand why, the car don't charge the pressure..If i disconnect the wastegate flue, i have only 1.4 peak pressure(2.4 with atmospheric) in mainfold.. If i connect it, i read only 0.5bar of boost(1.5 with atmospheric pressure).
I try to disconnect popoff, change pierburg valve, but i don't fix the problem.
Have you got some ideas?

I try to log the pressure, and i found that, from 2500rpm, to 4500rpm, the ecu have 2.3bar boost target.. but in the mainfold there is only atmospheric pressure (0.9-1 bar).. On high rpm, the turbo charge some pressure but it's not the pressure he had has target..
and in the same time the wastegate open, the pressure fly down.

I was thinking il coul be a hole in the intercooler..
Thanks for your help
Filippo

Have you changed the boost pressure sensor?
