Hi,
Newbie here looking for recommendation on how to disable the EGR valve on a 1.3 DDiS?
The ECU is a Marelli MJD 8DS.

I have been looking at MPPS and KTag. ChatGPT said MPPS is sketchy and probably wouldn't do it, and KTag is better.
But someone else on the Fiat forum said MPPS would connect over OBD and would have an easy switch to disable the EGR.

Is that true?
Is a Chinese MPPS clone of v18 okay?
Are there any links you can provide?

Also would MPPS do the same on a Bosch EDC17 tricore for a Fiat 2014 1.6 JTDM?
