Alfa 156 1.9 jtd 115 EDC15C7 Hardcut trouble

Hey, I'm having trouble doing a Hardcut on my Alfa Romeo 156 1.9 JTD 115 HP EDC15C7. After changing the Torque Limiter map to 4200, it cuts off and actually stay at 4200 rpm—but it's still soft. In all the guides I've found, all of them only modify the 19x1 map. What else needs to be changed? I should add that I have a straight pipe exhaust. Please help, what i am doing wrong.

If it cuts with this just try lowering rpm gap. Try 5rpm gap and test if it’s changed. You can set 1-2rpm gap for faster cut.

That is soft method, if you want more hard cut you need to do with svl rpm (5200 ori) and tune SOI there.
Anyway without free exhaust you won't get cut like TDI VP/VP because CR is different.
Said that, remember hard cut is really bad for engine and turbo.

Hi, I changed the torque limiter to 4251 and the SOI to 4521. It didn't help. It still sounds like a stock cut, but instead of 5000, it's 4251. Does anyone have any other ideas on what else I can change?

Post your stock and modified files. And it’s not enough to change RPM values in SOI map. You need to retard SOI to achieve crisp hardcut.
