Bricked edc16C35 bmw

Hi Guys,

I bricked my edc16c35 from my Bmw 520d from 2006 with mpps v13 when he is erasing flash.

I did a full backup of the flash with mpps v18 before the brick.
I connected the Ecu with bdm and Ktag to recover the Ecu, i can read the epprom (8kb), I can write the backup that i did with the mpps v18 but i cannot communicate with the mpc562. What is happening?

Depend on ecu sometimes OBD read is not full, are you checked it? If MPPS read partial flash you can not restore writing that flash on BDM.

Hi, thanks for your repply!

I just wrote the flash with Ktag Clone, now I have the flash, and the epprom, but I do not have access to MPC562 yet. I did an open search and I questioned chatgpt and it says that i need to force the boot (soldering a cable beetween the boot pin and gnd), but i don´t know where it is.
