My name is Martin. I’m not a professional when it comes to cars, ECU mapping, and similar things, but I’m a passionate amateur who loves cars and everything related to them.

At the moment, I have an old Peugeot 5008 1.6 HDi from 2010, 80 kW (I think the engine code is 9HZTED4), which I bought cheaply and I’m bringing back to life. The suspension has been completely rebuilt — bushings, links, ball joints, shock absorbers — everything.

Now it’s time for the engine, which has done about 296,000 km. The engine itself is okay, but I have a small issue with oil leaking around the injectors through the injector bolt threads — the seals have already been replaced.

I’m also facing some challenges with the ECU and some non-specific issues related to the EGR and DPF, because the previous owner had them disabled. Since then, the car has had problems, and he gave up on it — that’s why I got it cheap.

So this is a challenge I’d really like to solve. I have KTAG, KESS V2, DiagBox 07.56, and I’ve been researching, but I’ve hit a wall. I’m hoping to get some help here, which is why I registered.
