Hi,
i am a new comer in that forum, so please excuse me for some things i might write :)
I have a Peugeot 407 1.6 HDI and recently removed the FAP and CAT - to cut the long story short - a was promissed that a guy will remove the FAP from the ECU and then a friend of mine will remove it mechanically. Well my fiend removed the FAP with the CAT and took the car to the guy that promissed to remove the FAP fro mthe ECU - when he received the car he said he is not able to do it and now i am without FAP/CAT and no warning light comes on the dashboard - which i think is strange. Now i did a research in the web and found that Forum, where i hope i will learn something about the ECU and how to deal with it. I hope i receive some feedback from the Forum and later help others who are in the same possition as men.
Cheers Ivan

To disable FAP on edc16c34 we need only 2 bytes.
So we must find this string and set 00 00 in it:
00 7F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 0C 3B

how to not having ceria or post-injection cycle
thank you

Hi

Since ecusafe doesn't remove dpf completely, Thought i should try this,
found this string 00 7F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 01 01 00 0C 3B and set it to 02 00 01 00 0C 3B
in 1E7A60
is this correct ?

No, you should set up like : 00 7F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 0C 3B

yours.
the 00 7F 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 0C 3B thing does not work at all.

Hi

Looking at the damos provided in this thread I can find

00 9F 00 00 00 00 00 01 01 00 0C 3B

but not

00 7F 00 00 00 00 00 01 01 00 0C 3B

Is this the correct sequence?
