Looking for the IQ93

Postby KelvinUK » Sun Jun 22, 2025 10:53 pm

Hello :-)

I'm looking for someone that can modify my original file on my 406 2.2Hdi.

I have the Galletto and can upload the original here

Srdan did an IQ84 file for my old car many years ago and it was excellent - but I've no longer got that car.

My new car is completely original, so I will do a defap, deEGR, get rid of the air doser and simplify the vacuum system - then it will be ready for the remap.

Many thanks and best wishes

Just a quick warning, DPF off in the UK is illegal,
your MOT will be invalid.

Thank you, I appreciate the heads up.

I was under the impression that as the 406 is Euro4 it wasn't necessary, however better safe than sorry ;-)

Any factory fitted DPF must be functioning and untampered with for a current MOT.
As of this year new regulations come in to force so MOT stations have to check it.

Yes, I understand that if something is filled, then it must be working.
However there is only 1 engine variant on the 406, fitted with the DPF.

Upload your original and either myself or someone else will remove it for you.
As long as we've given you all the information then it's up to you if you want to go ahead

Update...

I've been through my old computer and I've found the remap that was originally sent.
It's a powerIso file, but I can't remember if this is correct?

Many thanks,
Kelv

Well, it's been a while since I've come here....

Quick update.
A friend I've known for many years on the 406 forum kindly sent me the file I needed - which was a lovely gesture, and I did manage to flash it onto my ECU once I backdated the WinRAR file.
This worked like a charm, but being the fool that I am decided to then flash the custom file I had found on my PC and 23% into this process the WinRAR file decides to throw me out of the process, which subsequently bricked my ECU.

So.
Seeing as I still had the donor car at this point, I had no real choice but to remove the ECU, BSI and transponder chip from this car and fit it to mine. This made the car fire up straight away, although there are still a couple of niggling things to sort out.

As it's a new year, I figured I need to be more proactive in getting things done - so I'm asking on here if anyone can unbrick an EDC15C ECU, and upload a working file, which I can send, onto it?

Many thanks in advance, and Happy New Year to you all.
