My kids really liked my VW Passat 2010 1.6 TDI I got more or less as a transition solution when I sold our last. So I decided to keep it and fix it up. Was barely done before getting restless and researched how to tune it. Contacted a local tuner, which are few here in northern Sweden. Bought a GTC1549VZ and Kess V2, installed it and gutted the dpf and blocked out the EGR. And then I never heard from the man again... Panicked cause I needed a car and used davinci software in a hope it would help an it actually seem to work. This was about six months ago. I havent gotten any DTC or trouble really. The turbo seems to spool a bit slower, boost goes up to 1.5 bar for some reason and the fuel economy is worse. For weeks now I've been trying to find time learning some winols and maps. Its not going great I tell you. Maybe I'm getting too old to learn new things at 41... I would really appreciate any help given cause something got to give.
