After I read the ecu (Bosch MED17.5.25) of my car (2016 VW Polo 1.2TSI 5MT), I saw that I can no longer use the buttons on the steering wheel, I can no longer horn or flash my high beams. To resolve this problem, I tried to open the case of the ECU which happens to have clamps instead of bolts. Thus, I needed to drill the case to access the ECU board. To see if the ECU still functions, I tested it on my car before doing any modifications on the board. However, I could not get the ECU to work after that, My check engine light, esp light and many more lit up. I attached the photos of the ECU board. Did I drill to deep or can I somehow get the ECU back to function.
