2007 Honda Civic 2.2 CTDI DPF off still makes Regeneration

Postby Caine » Sat May 01, 2021 2:13 pm

Hi , my 2007 Honda Civic 2.2 CTDI has some problems. I get a DPF off and Tuning Software, butr this car still makes every 700 to 800 Kilometers a Regeneration. Means it gives more Diesel to clean the DPF that doesent exist anymore. I this case , the car really stinks and lot of smoke come from the exhaust, and it takes more diesel. This is for 50 to 60 Kilometers. Than car drive again normal for the next 700 to 800 Kilometers. With DPF off Software i must disconnect the sensors? This I dont do. Everything is still in Place.Only take the Ceramic out and put software on. Can anybody help me please?

I can know if that is case with your car, but best you ask tuner who removed it in first place.
AFAIK you only software remove DPF when regen has been freshly done and NEVER when regen cycle eminent or not complete. With proper DPF removal you ECU will not start regeneration process ever.

Perhaps you can ask your tuner to put normal Nm to IQ maps over all regen maps and it will be fine.
