Hi all!

I have a 2005 Audi A6 with the AWX engine and ECU no. 038906019LL. The ECU bricked after a write and would not identify with MPPS. I removed the ECU and was able to get it into boot mode and flash the original file back on. After flashing back the original file in boot mode, the ECU will still not ID. I am able to read the map back off the ECU after a couple of attempts, checksums are correct and there appears to be no issues with the ECU dump.

Has anyone experienced a similar issues to this and recommend the next step to take?

Done the same at 045 906 019 AE DS1537 Lupo R3 TDI PD, I can read write but ecu does not respond for vag-com, No communication at all. Interesting is that i bricked 2 these ECUs and no single one other, even (the same) DS13??. Makes no sense for me, maybe bug in firmware/ Goid knows where is the problem.

Seems like you have a checksum related problem.

Could you send me an ori and modded file please? I have got similiar problem with 019pb.
