E85 ethanol remap for Alfa Romeo 147 2.0 150HP

Postby pedrosm » Wed Oct 24, 2018 8:03 pm

Hi,
I have an Alfa Romeo 147 TS 2.0L (2005) 150HP.
I would like to remap my ECU so as it is compatible with E85 ethanol. Possibly I think about doing a dual map with a switching button for E85/Gasoline, but this is not a must.
Also, something should be done to make cold start easier. As start is difficult ethanol.
I have very little experience with ECU remapping.
I am willing to pay for the service. Do you recommend anyone?
Thanks a lot!

Ok,
I have done some research and that's how I will start on my E85 tuning:

1- Add 39% across all VE Fuel Table

2 - On Ignition Table reduce some degrees till 100kpa and add some degrees after 100kpa. // Alternative: Add 2 or 3 degrees on the entire table.

3 - On cold start table add 20% cranking in low temperatures on levels the car has a problem starting.

Would you have some criticism or ideas for making this base tuning better?
