hi there i am having a problem with this car audi 2.4 b5 v6 misfire under load.... i did alot of testing still no result .... the car idles queit fine but soon is you accelerate it will start to misfire you can hear the pops in the intake side only.... i already did scan for faults with VCDS no faults
i did check the ignition coil spark plugs everything is file no vacum leaks i changed also the camshaft position sensor i checked also the coolant temp sensor the blue one... i checked the maf sensor also i checked the cat converters they are new... the only thing i doubt is the timing chain cause i can hear the cracking sound but i just want advice from u people perhaps u hade this situation and give me some give some idea where te check for more cause i am tired of this piece of shit

Hello. I do not know the 2.4 engine but i worked a similar thing on a 1.8t . Does the 2.4 have evap valve ? If so take a look at that. I think its called diverter valve. You can check the whole oil evap system. Sorry for my english

Check gasoline pump too. Start with new filter.

Your chain should not be making noises. What oil type did u used last change? Id try 10w40 and some oil aditive like Abro to see if the chain gets better ..if not id take a look at the tensioner and guides. Also i worked on a 3.2 v6 and you can check timing somewhere in vcds but i cant remember exactly. It should be a idle stabilization channel in 01 engine so you can make an ideea about whats going on.
