SAAB EGR OFF file format wrong?

Hi. Recently i asked chiptuning company to give me 2.2 tid 92kw map with EGR off. And i said i will install it with MPPS. But he said that his "file format" is not compatible with MPPS and cannot be installed with this device. So im very angry and confused what da hell. As far as i know car computers work by reading info from binary files. How the hell you can modify them that you cant install it with MPPS?!

just rename the file ! It will work as long you have read it out with the same tool you are gonna write !

MPPS should write the file anyway doesnt matter if it is bin. or only data file ! I never had any issues.

MPPS for PSG16 has own format and it is different from others tool, so if you want to get moded file without ori file , you need read it at first from your ecu .Then mod it and load back to ecu. So your tuner was right ;)

Well that is logical ! You always should read out ori file before flashing anything to the ecu !!!

And best is to make the mods all on your ori file not use another file !!!

thx for replies. the problem is that i cant read saab 2.2 ecu with mpps although such option is in mpps software. If someone has any info on how to connect mpps to ecu tell me.
