Hi guys,
I have a 2017 Ford Ranger here that needs DPF off. Whilst we have managed to switch off the DPF (manually via my tuner and Swiftec when they began supporting it) we cannot get rid of the error message on the dashboard. We get an error on the dashboard saying restricted power (there is no power restriction, we have removed the DTCs for it so the car is not in limp home mode) and DPF filter blocked, drive to clean.
The counter was reset with Ford online diagnostics to zero before we did the DPF delete.
When plugged into diagnostics, we can see the DPF saturation is sat at 314%. We cannot get this counter to come down. We have even put the ori file back on and tried to reset the DPF counter again, and whilst the counter says it has reset on diagnostics (we have genuine Ford online login, and Autel diagnostics), it has not and remains at 314%. What are the chances of being able to find and manually zero this counter? I am unable to find it so far and I think I am going to have to buy a new DPF for my customer.
I have attached an original file and one with the Swiftec delete on.
If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.
Mark
