Laguna II 1.9Dci EDC15C3

Postby joao-ml » Mon Oct 24, 2016 3:52 pm

Hi guys I'm having a problem disabling the EGR of a friend 1.9Dci EDC15C3.
I've found the switch and chaged it to 0 (72725) and in fact the EGR is closed (0% in diagnostic) but it still shows the Df209 (egr position) error.
Do I need to change the EGR map to the maximum valeu? (6CF14 I think)

Thanks

When EGR switch find properly and set to 0 the ecu will not use EGR and not check EGR coil circuit. But ecu check EGR measurement resistor circuit and when EGR socket is disconnected you have DTC. For clear EGR OFF you need find this check and switch it off too. But I not seen Renault EDC15 DAMOS at all. Other way is disconnect only EGR coil and leave resistor connected.

So if I set the map values to max (closed egr) it will not afect this DTC, I need to found DTC table and switch it off?
I think the egr switch is the right one it made egr values to 0% and the oher DTC dissapeared.
