1.9 tdi atd 100@140 overboost

Hi everybody,

Can You tell me what can cause a problem with my overboosting turbo?

I ask for 1.2bar max and turbo goes up to 1.315. SVBL is set to 2.25bar, but turbo seems to don't care about it and is boosting more than this. I also wanted to ask You about correct values of N75. I think that mine are to high.

I am thinking that maybe it's because of broken N75 valve or maybe maf sensor. What do You think guys?

On PD engine, as it is (atd 101ps) you have one module with many vacuum hoses in it. I had same situation and problem was there. Replaced the vacuum module and it's ok. Mine was Ibiza 6l ATD and after remap on 1-2-3th gear there was no problem but on long distance when hit the pedal a lot it overboosts and get in service(CHECK indicator on dashboard) After that I turn off the engine than start it up again and it's ok until next long full throttle test on high gear. Hope i helped.

I have stock N75 map (picuture in attachment). It is scaled to 45mg. My map ask for 60mg maxiumum.

Maybe this is a problem. If that is the problem I can rescale the map to 60mg but what values should I put in 60mg column? Any advices?

if you want to do it that way it is going to take allot of logging if you change the axis data. leave it stock it works better

So should I do anything with this -> N75 up to 95% and overboost +/- 0,1 bar?

Or leave it like this and wait for something to break?

I was thinking that maybe I should go to mechanic to let him see my turbo - maybe something is stuck inside.

You must log the 011 turbo in 3rd gear from 1000rpm to max rpm and look for Requested boost vs actual boost and see if the ECU is actually controlling the turbo this will let you know if you have a sticking turbo.

Here you can see boost going high and can also see ecu frantically trying to control it via duty cycle to n75 valve. this is what your looking for.

Hello, my log was made on 3rd gear and we can see that ecu is trying to control boost via duty cycle by n75 valve.

So should I assume that everything is ok?
