How to download the ori maps??

Postby mmparts » Wed Nov 30, 2016 1:14 am

Hello guys!
I'm a newbie, i read a lot for maps and changing them, but there it comes the big question!
I have VAG EDC15P+ Suite for modifying, already got the Vag Com cable.... So what now?
Can someone explain me how to get the ori map from the car to my computer and than how to get it back in the ECU modified?

I think I found solution of my problem. Galletto 1.260 (EOBDII ECU Flasher) may works. How do you think?

you cannot download a file of upload a file to a car with vagcom mate you have to buy a tuning tool. which i must say isn't cheap

As I checked it's possible with SMPS flash tool and MPPS software. And in fact it's not expensive.

I'm sorry but what is HW and SW? I bought Galleto 1260 flasher, hope it will do the job. As I said i will learn on VW Golf IV 1.9TDI(car that have no registration plates, soon will be sold on parts.)
