Anyone knows how to disable the DPF on a bosch ecd17 ?
Is an ecd17 from VW 2.0 TDI

For EDC16C34 the ECUSafe 1.9.3/6 could do the job.
Very important is to check the checksum after editing the bin.

The best way is to turn it off manually.

Ecusafe is a bad choice for this engine and this ecu. Is good for edc15. I found a good solution for my car. One switch and improve two addresses completely erases fap and delete error tables.

The right way is to do it with two bytes, and it can be done, there is two byte switch.

Always the best choice is to do it manually,
if you are no experienced than ecusafe ECUSafe 1.9.3/6 can do the job - tested and confirmed.

I am not quite sure why are you asking for help if you already have solution...

Hi

I want to turn off DPF in Ford C-MAX with EDC16C34 1,6 engine.(HDI engine)

I found something like in 407 1,6hdi switch but it is on 1E806D address an looks like this 00 01 01 00 0C 3B
In 2D in WinOLS looks very similar to 407.
Can You tell my is this change OK and will work?

CHK is not calc becuse old WinOLS.
