ECU Mapping Basics

Postby Afonzi » Tue Nov 03, 2015 2:57 pm

Hi guys, I just joined this forum so you've never heard of me. I'm a mechanical engineering student in Brighton doing my final year project. The topic is "ECU simulation using Matlab/Simulink". I'm posting this here asking you guys if you have any suggestions regarding books and automotive literature that could help me understand the basics of an ECU, how to map it properly and the essential parts of it. I already searched the topics Nd found some good suggestions, but nothing too accurate. Anyways, I really appreciate any help that you can give me. Thanks

hi man there are allot of documents on this forum. there is a edc15p tuning guide floating around that can help you with enough info in how to tune a car and what each map do. as to learn how an ecu work, i would recommend you download an edc15 or edc 16 funktionsrahmen. this explains how the actual ecu works.
