Tuning N75 map - TDI VNT Turbo

Postby dmcc16 » Thu Aug 20, 2015 1:09 am

Looking for advice on tuning the n75 map for my ASV 1.9 tdi. I've done logs from a 4th gear pull and plotted boost pressure vs rpm. I'm requesting peak boost of 2390 mbar (abs) of in the map. Peak boost is at an expected value of 2200 rpm which overshoots 2390 then drops off, climbs and then levels off around the requested boost value. In the areas where the boost was lower than desired I slightly increased the % in the n75 map and the difference it made was negligible. Does anyone know what's the best way to go about adjusting the map to achieve consistent boost through the rev range?

Thanks in advance. Any advice with setting this up would be great as I've no experience with PID control which I believe is what these use.

This is normal that you got overshots with stock N75. You have to open geometry more at full pedal.
