Duration Map Recalibration help please

Postby deadvalentine » Sun Aug 16, 2015 10:43 pm

Hi there, I want to extend my duration map by deleting some columns and moving them along so i can have a higher IQ on my duration map. I was given a calculation to change the values but it doesnt add up.

For example..
@ 1600bar 1157 duration - 85mm3, to make it up to as close to 90 as possible i was told to do this

1319 (new duration value) x 85mm3 (previous iq value) / 1245 (85mm3 duration value) = 90.0522088353mm3

Now in the map the data already there.. for example 75mm3 is 1049, 80 is 1157.. so doing the same calculation

1157 x 75 / 1049 = 82.7216396568

Which is more than 80 as you can see.

Can anybody help me with this?

Calculate % difference between values in 80 column and the values in 85 column (last 2 calumns).
Then, apply the same % from 85 column to new 90 column and you will get the right value.
For ex. if the value at last row 1600 bar : 80 column is 902 and 85 clumn is 947, this means that the value is increased by 5% (902*1.05=947). And so on for all rows.
