Citroen c4 Coupe 1.6HDi 90HP 2006

Rate my tune. I tuned my car, bat I am not happy. EGR is off. Black smoke at lower revs and when the car gets stuck. The only consolation is that the car accelerates very well. And do not spend a lot. :D :?:

The injection durations are increased at lower pressure, but the start of injection is not. You may be injecting past best EOI so it smokes. Or you could rescale the IQ columns to scale fuel properly for the increased amount that is already calculated in durations

Would you be able to fix it for me? I re-mapped file bought on the tuner did not really mastered EDC16. Or explain to me, so I'll do?

Drivers wish requests torque
Torque is limited through curve
Torque is converted to fuel quantity
Most of the maps are scaled to 40 fuel quantity (This is where you could re-scale them to 50+)
( a lot of tuners increase the amount of fuel that is requested for injection durations, so instead of injecting the equivalent of 40mm3 at full throttle at 3000rpm, it puts in 50mm3, but the ECU still thinks its 40 and calculates everything else for 40 (smoke, start of injection, turbo, etc)
so, for each of the maps you modify, it is better to re-label the axis as a higher fuel quantity so everything works together.
