Help with Mondeo 2.2 Delphi

Postby b4rk3r » Tue Sep 30, 2014 12:52 am

Hi, I've just purchased winols and slowly getting the hang of it :?
Having some trouble with this ECU so any help would be really appreciated!
I've recognized some maps, and I believe this ECU is NM based, but it looks like a few maps could be in mg.
Take a look and let me know if i'm on the right track

I took a quick look of the file and found these:

639EE 6x5iq limiter (factor 0,015625)
63A40 iq limiter
63A92 iq limiter
63AE4 iq limiter (i'm not sure about those 4)

641EC 10x5 - FRP selector, I guess
644D8 12x10 - FRP
645F4 - FRP
64710 - FRP
6482C - FRP
6494E - FRP
64A7A - FRP

65CEE 10x1 EVR map selector (axis = 65cda)
65D82 12x12 - egr flow
65EA2 - egr flow
65FC2 - egr flow
660E2 - egr flow
66202 - egr flow
66322 - egr flow
66442 - egr flow
66562 12x12 - EVR (electronic vacuum regulator) duty cycle - a map for EGR regulation
66682 - EVR
667A2 - EVR
668C2 - EVR
669E2 - EVR
66B02 - EVR
66C22 - EVR

67A3A 13x13 wish map
67B8C 13x13 wish map
67CDE 13x13 wish map
67E30 13x13 wish map¸(all have same axis definitions as wish map 67A3A that you have already found)
681D2 13x18 - smoke limiter (factor 0.015625, precision 1, Y axis factor 6.5, precision 1)
683D6 - starting injection quantity (while cranking)
689c8 - could be something related to idle speed...?
6931e = cursor - axis definition for limp home mode torque limiter (69346)
69D02 = cursor - axis definition for torque limiters
6A9FC 6x6 - idle speed
6C800 = IQ to TQ conversion (don't change! Also don't change Tq/Tq and duration maps!)
6CE3C = N75 1
6D19C 12x12 - N75 2

etc, etc, there's so much more... I't save it, but I'm using winols demo on this laptop...

edited: is there any DAMOS for those ECUs? I'm still looking for MAP sensor linearisation map..

IQ/TQ conversion what unit is Y axis?
Is the torque limiter in NM or IQ?
This ECU is killing me

X axis is injection quantity (mg/str), Y axis is engine speed (rpm), Z axis is torque (Nm, factor 0.1, precision 1).

This is torque produced on a crankshaft, including torque consumed by power steering pump, alternator, A/C etc. These torque consumers are taken into account using compensation maps (like if you turn on A/C, performance doesn't drop because ECU injects more fuel).

Torque limiter is in mg/str.

Took me months before finding some stuff and understand how it works, but I personally think this ECU is the best and most flexible of all I've worked on. Too bad it hasn't got as much support and knowledge flowing around as for EDC15 or EDC16.. :?

And yes, this IQ/TQ map is (so it seems) decalibrated from factory.

Few guys tried to recalculate it and get it right, but experienced many other problems (pre-injection problems, IQ deviations etc), so reverted back to stock. I didn't even try to change it. You can try to ignore it. :D

you think Z is Iq, and X is Torque in nm
