kess stability?

hi all
i'm thinkin of buying kess but have heard/read about "chip" needing to be replaced?
also that they aren't stable?
any info would be great.

I been using KeesV2 , fast and stable ! for chipping you just need a programmer and Editing software with check sum correction .
