Fabia 1.9 TDI PD AXR 101hp

Postby 1komma9pd » Sun Mar 09, 2014 11:44 am

Hello,

my car was remaped some years ago and now, 60.000km later, I want to know how it is done. (car is now 108.000km driven)
Some other people told me, that this tune is crap. In my words, the car goes like hell ... for a little Fabia

The transmission is a MQ250 and so I said to the tuner "limit it to 280NM cause of the transmission"

I've used the dyno function in VAGEDCsuite and this is what it shows me
(left side tuned AXR and right side original AXR)

So now I've done my first file, with some modifications from the original tuned file
The curve in vagsuite tells me round about 300NM and 127HP @ 3000rpm
I think, my tune is more elastic and there is not the strong punch as in the original tune

codebank 2 (manual) = my own values
codebank 5 (automatic) = original tuning file values

What are you thinking about my first tune?

IMHO I don't like the way this as been done The durations maps 3-4 have ben decalibrated and exploited
your smoke maps about 20.1 AFR you can make this better go more 16/17.1 Smokeless
N75 Not Touched (Make Logs to Tune this map fine tweeks) so u don't get boost Spikes Ect
Your Torque Limiter 1500-3000 is above 60iq but durations axis is 60iq
There more that I don't like with it
I recommend if your going to try and make a tune don't rework someone else's tune Just start fresh with the Ori file and there is loads of info of VAG EDC15 on here and the net get to grips with the basic tuning Read the EDC15 Guide on this site I no its based on a 150PD but it will help you

tahnk you for your time and analysis
the problem is, that I haven't got the original file from my car, only the tuned version.
So I modified this version with comparing it to another original AXR file from Seat Ibiza.

> duration maps 3-4 > didnt touch them and as I see, they look like original or am I wrong?

At all I didnt want the best power from this tuning .... I want a bit of better performance without the huge *boooom* I've got now @ 1500rpm and I want to save my hardware.
