Peugot 407 2.0 16V HDI 100kW - Delphi DCM3.4 - DPF off

Postby Zibi » Thu Oct 25, 2012 10:26 am

Hi

I want to remove DPF in car like in title.
I have read soft with galleto 2 by OBD. File attached.

Is it hard to do that in Delphi DCM3.4?

Car is working good. It has 81 000km. DPF is working but owner wants to remove it just like that :).

Did somebody have some experience in writheing DCM 3.4 by OBD? I dont want to crash ecu.

thanks

Hi all, just found out that I have the same ECU - Delphi DCM3.4. Very much appreciate if someone let me know what kind of software and hardware I need to disable the DPF :?: You can also send me PM. Thank you!

Does "BDM programmer" suits to Delphi DCM3.4 read/write operation?

I also have a 407 2,0 hdi. I have a 2007 model. I also want to remove my dpf, most for the reason to get rid of the additive. But is a good benefit on performance and mileage?

One more question.
Im not sure which engine management i have.
Its a 2007 HDI 2,0 100kw. Is it delpi on mine too?
Maybe a can check it oi peugeot planet, or service box? I have heard that the EDC16 is harder to get a dpf off. Maybe its an internet rumor.
I have not the knowledge to to do the programing my self, but i try to get a little knowledge before i contact a company to do it for me.

From 2005->
1.4, 1.6 and 2.2 HDI engines use EDC16
2.0 HDI engines use Siemens or Delphi
2.7 HDI engines use Siemens
