Peugeot 407 1.6HDi De-FAP De-CAT

Hi guys, I have recently got a 2005 Peugeot 407 1.6HDi as a daily and started thinking of getting rid of the FAP and CAT eventually to get some more flow and maybe later get some more horses from some map modifications.

My first thoughts came to check if the equipment I used with my previous 406 Coupe 2.2HDi a while ago (5yrs to be exact) will halp do the job or not on my 407. Looking around on the net I'm ending finding people already editing maps and trying to download them and not actually understanding how they actually read the data from the ECU in the first place.

Up till now I realised that a lot of people have used BDM for EDC16xx, since some suggest that OBD is not safe for EDC16xx ECU's.
I currently only possess a Galletto 1260 cable, EOBD1260 software (which has no 407 1.6HDi on its carlist), and ECUSafe which i've read is not realiable program for DPF off in these ECUs and therefore I would like to know how can read the ECU and start manually looking DPF strings and modify them!

Is there any possible way how to manage this through OBD or I have to definitely use BDM and get my ECU removed?

Thanks for your help in advance
Regards,
Maverick
