All about how to remove FAP and DPF filters

Peugeot 406 HDI 2.2

Could anyone assist me here please.
Ive recently bought this car and it became clear quite soon that id got it cheap because the DPF was blocked and a few other minor (minor to me) issues were going to make it beyond economic repair. The car is mint in my eyes :D
So, the DPF can is now all cleared and of course it was going into limp mode every few days and the warning light came on every day. To my horror people are asking £300 to flash the ECU. Knowing what i know about computers i find this quite excessive and aside of my opinions i cannot afford such an undertaking.
So.....
Ive been reading and now have ECU Safe running on my virtual XP machine and a friend lent me a KWP 2000 Plus. So I've grabbed the binary file and ECU safe tells me the DPF has been removed. The car is utterly transformed. Well, until i drove 100 miles today and the light came on again and on and off it goes into limp mode.
When i got home today i re ran the DPF removal using ECU Safe and this time it makes no difference.
Please can someone lead me to the knowledge of how to remove all the Limp errors from the ECU. I realise that other sensors have detected irregularities and brought me back to the beginning.
Ive been reading a lot about this and it seems that somehow, this quite clearly simple information, is being guarded by those charging £300 for ticking a few boxes in some software and re uploading the binary. Im not in the position to pay that much and not get to learn how it was done. I'll happily share any of my technical knowledge about music studios or Mac's in general. That is my business plan and it makes for loyal clients.
If anyone will help it would be marvellous, i have to drive the family to Cornwall on Monday and need limp mode to be a thing of the past.

Thanks, nice to meet you all and as i said, if i can help anyone it will be a pleasure.

Cheers
Lee
