Peugeot 206 1.4 HDI tuning

Postby mkrk57 » Sat Apr 18, 2015 12:45 am

Hi guys,

I have two peugeots 206 1.4 HDI

Car 1 - original

ECU Hardware Type: 1037372285:C35374C_:00
Peugeot Hardware Number: 9654490280
Peugeot Software Number: 9658556780
Bosch Software Number: Bosch EDC1

(ECU READ FILE - BOSCH EDC1_org.Bin attached)

Car 2 - modded

ECU Hardware Type: 1037372088:C35374B_:00
Peugeot Hardware Number: 9654490280
Peugeot Software Number: 9658556780
Bosch Software Number: BOSCH EDC1

(ECU READ FILE - BOSCH EDC1_mod.Bin attached)

I am quite new to this and my question is if I can simply flash the 1st original car's ECU with the file from 2nd car?
Does this file needs any modifications first? (I don't have any working winols software :( )
BTW I am using MPPS v13 clone for this job.

Feel free to use the files attached.

And if anyone could rate the modded file I would be really greatful.

Thank you all in advance.

Cheers! :)

Ok,
With some troubles, but I have succesfully uploaded the file to the ECU of ori car.
But I cannot feel a big difference beetween those two maps.
I will test it for few days and update you later.

Cheers ;)

EDC16 I am weak, but just to say that you change the settings injectors ~+10%, which is not good and not right for you.

Thank you for your answer.

What do you mean by not good for me?

That I can get more power from different settings?
Or that I can harm my engine with that map?

I have tested it and it definitely is more powerful, especially you can feel it on 4th and 5th gear

Yes. fuel mixture to be richer, to be a little more smoke when accelerating. But 10% is not much.

I did not notice any more smoke than usual. Almost nothing ;)
The second car made around 40.000km on this map and is good so I hope that map will not kill my engine.

Thank you very much for checking the map for me! ;)

Cheers!

If you want to use MPPS to flash this ECU you have to be REALLY careful...
I got 3 errors during flashing and I've managed to flash it on 4th attempt using slow(recovery) mode.

If you get any error during the process do no to turn on your car. Just unplug everything, wait around 4-5 mins and try again.

I do not know how good is this map, but I have done around 40,000 on this map in my 2nd 206 and it is still ok.
