PCR 2.1 Bricked after mapping with Kess Gen Slave

Postby Pmauto » Sat Sep 28, 2019 11:28 pm

Hope someone can help. Was writing a file into a PCR 2.1 for the first time with a Genuine Slave Kess with a properly tuned file. The process completed until the end it said 'Log Analyse failed'

Tried to start and nothing. Tried to write the file again and no communication.

Anyone had this issue before and what do I need to clone on of these ecus if the need arises? Going to lift ECU out for a ktag read tomorrow to see if I get anywhere.

Regards Paul

Have you tried recovery function with the original file that you got with virtual read?
You should be able to recover this ecu.

Kind regards,

Thanks for the reply. I don't think that's going to work because Kess has no comms with the ECU anytime I try to ID or Read again it wont do anything. Will have another look today and see what happens.

Thanks Paul
