Hi Guys.
I have been looking into getting into the ECU reading and writing as i have a couple of cars myself I am diagnosing.
I was looking for information on what is the best to purchase bearing in mind in not a commercial Garage so cant spend the thousands of pounds for commercial hardware and software which covers most makes and models, I only need Mercedes.
I bought PCM Master from Amazon but fear its not what i thought it was. (PCM Tuner) even though it does have Scanmatik 2.21.18 (build 14.04.22) and PCMflash V1.2.0 software. It does not have the Module 77 in the drop down menu ( which covers the EDC16C2 Mercedes ECU, but it does have a full ECU MAPS directory with the CD it came with which does have a folder with files for that ECU and every make and model i could think of, but i cant see how to upgrade the software to install the module. Does anyone know if its possible, and if so how i can upgrade it?
or is it best to just return it and purchase a better solution,
