passat 130 tdi b5.5 remap

Hi everyone,
I have a passat b5.5 tdi 130 sport, i also have an mpps cable and vagedcsuite software.
My car is already remapped, however i was wondeing what are the parameters that are generally
changed when remapping a file? Also any advice on tweaking a few more hp out, many thanks, Seb
