North American EDC17CP05

Hi everyone! I am wanting to start tuning the EDC17CP05 that is used in the new ford diesel trucks. Ford is always updating their flashes with what they call new strategies. I am relatively new to tuning and am looking at using the kessV2 and possibly the Powergate3 handheld tuner. My question to you guys is with all the different strategy codes ford has would I have to write custom tunes for each strategy code or could I reprogram the trucks to the one strategy code that I have?

I'm kinda of in the same boat as you are. Same vehicle I'm looking for a .bin read out. Have you had any success?

Once you read it in boot mode u can disable the antituning function so u can program via OBD.
or u can always program in boot mode. Kess will always take care of those strategies for you
