Hi all.

I've been offline for a bit because I've not had my laptop and I've been way too busy to fix it till now!

So, I thought I would reintroduce myself a bit.

I'm not on a mega mission to learn everything about remapping all vehicles, but I do want to learn about ones relevant to me, ie; My 2001 Merc Vito 2.2CDi, the Mrs VW Bora 1.9TDi, and I want to learn a bit about Megasquirt too because I've got a bit of a project car that I'm going to be running MS so I can map it myself and boost it. (its basically a Swift GTi G13b engine with a supercharger running aprox 220-250hp) :-)

I haven't even looked what ECU I've got in the Merc or VW yet, but I haven't sorted out my choice of software yet and I think I've got to set up my laptop with a virtual machine running XP (but on a laptop that has Win7!).

..If anyone knows a better standalone ecu than Megasquirt then feel free to chip in.
Please bare in mind I'm on a bit of a budget ;-)
