newbie immo off mistake please help

I have made the mistake of trying to swap immo eeprom from edc16u1 vw to another ecu because original ecu had failed but this has not worked so I need to do an immo off and need some help can somebody help me out please. can I use immo killer?

How read memory ,did you read eeprom and flash too? Number of ECU please ,may be I can help you .Regards

Solved, you must immo off eeprom in ecu changing chip does not work thanks for your help.

This is not the right way. Need read pin used ECU and perform procedure change the Engine Control Unit (ECU).
