New to tuning

Postby ekt » Mon Dec 01, 2014 2:44 pm

Hi all,

i have a ibiza tdi 90hp from 2000, i'd like to get it remapped but do it by myself if i can.
i already have a programmer to read the eproms.
There are differences in 29f010 eproms, temperature wise, should i be worried for which temperature range to choose? or anything else?
Also, there's two eproms, already know that one is low and the other high, but what does that mean?
can someone point me some reading stuff about diesel tuning for moderate power and where can learn more about tuning the edc15v ecu?

thanks!

That's a very useful site you have posted.
Have you used any of this information at all?

I noticed it provides both Stock (ORIGINAL), modified maps for Excel.
Have you used any of these functions or information on the link you provided?

I have not used that information, I've only read, you can try and see if it works or not, it seems to me good and are things I expected to see in the forums.
Anyway, it's only the beginning, as everything is practice that makes learning.

If you find more information about this style, please teach me ;)
