I’m new here and pretty new to ECU tuning/editing in general. I’ve been trying to learn more about how it all works instead of just flashing random stuff without understanding it.

I’ve got a 2002 Mini Cooper S with a Siemens EMS2K ECU, and right now I’m mainly working on reading the bin, identifying maps, and figuring out how everything is laid out. I’m especially interested in learning how to verify map locations and make sure I’m not labeling things wrong.

Still learning, but I’m trying to do it the right way and actually understand what I’m looking at.

Glad to be here and looking forward to learning from people who know this stuff better than I do.
