Got interested in ecu tuning when I did my BMW 2002 (1972). changed from carbs to megasquirt ecu and new manifold, that works very well, got a 60BHP gain from that!

for my next project I'm looking at a rear mounted VAG 1.8T powered space framed car. hand built from scratch and expected dry weight of 700KG. What I really need is to use the 150BHP engine and then tune it to nearer 200BHP.

That has led me to this website, just need to play with the software and some maps at this point to teach myself what required. I understand the basics of fuelling and spark maps and ECU technology, and adjustments like warmup. What I need to learn more about is boost pressure from the turbo.
