need some tips

Postby AE_Ibiza » Sun Jul 26, 2015 3:35 pm

Hi,
Starting my own tuning, wondering if an increment on injection duration at about 7.5% is too much?
I have a ibiza 6L, 130bhp ASZ code, cat is OFF and everything else standard. Maybe aiming for an increase around 30% 40%, using edc suite, I know that isn't very precise but...
Cheers

Stop changing durationmaps and start reading all information on diesel engines you can find inside here and gooooog...le.com

how to say where is the diference between binary?
example; I have the file read from ECU and now I'm comparing with a ori file, I can see diference in EGR and Start Iq, but there are other address that don't have a name, how can I reconize them?

Maybe I've express myself wrong.
The image is a binary comparison between my ecu file (should be original no remap) and original seat file. Anyway beyond egr and start iq that are diferent and I'm aware, there are other diferences.
How can I know what diferences are? Or even if this can be a problem

Ok I've looked and find nothing...anyway and this is the only explanation I've achieved!
In the software number we have a SG number, so what does this SG stands for?

I think that you should start learning WinOls and try to find maps manualy in 2D view and then step by step and after you will find all the maps that you need for diesent tune , then you can start with modifying maps . ;)

like I thought, you didn't understand my question.
forget about the mode file, it as been done and it's working...now I have a doubt about the SG number and about what it stands for.
again forget about map or remap, just a simple question, of course if anybody knows.

example...I have 2 numbers, SG7000 and SG5839, so whats the difference? everything else is the same (less those binary)

thanks
