i have this problem also, but then with original cmdflash. But only the edc16c34, others no problem.

I tryed different laptops, with power suply and also booster on car.

Now i always make backup with bdm, then i do try it by obd.

Does this happen because the guy changed the wrong "maps" or is it more an edc16c34 related problem? I am reffering to the previous post of Sjonv.

Ok, thx! So that would mean that a lot of flasher types couldn't handle the edc16c34. If there is even a problem with original CMD than this is really a hard issue.

May I ask you with which tool you manage to repair/flash it?

edc16c34 flasher related problem.

so you know that cmd also have this problem?

I asked support but it was not the tool... i had my doubt because it is only at edc16c34. lucky this ecu are east to take off so it is not the biggest problem to do bdm, but obd is faster :)

Hi,

no I saw your post and since there was a problem with mpps and also with your ori CMD I wanted to ask if this a general flash related problem.

It was just to inform myself about since i think that the edc16c34 is used for PSA and Fiat and that are not my preferred car makers

edc16c34 is also used with 1.6 HDi and 1.6 TDCi engines - so that's why I heard so much about "losing injector coding" because of flashing cars with this engine. :)

A while ago a friend of mine asked me to give his C4 1.6 HDi a little kick in the ass. Luckily I told him to sell it and buy a 2 liter HDi.
