MPPS genuine

Postby TuningIsArt » Mon Aug 10, 2015 9:46 pm

Hello.I am intrested in buying MPPS cable for OBD tuning(not bench yet) genuine one.It is expensive so I want to ask you if it worths the money.Have anyone tried it?I am intrested in reflashing vag group mostly and land rovers(They use Bosch,Siemens and Marelli but not often). They told me that sometimes it reads a small size of the ECU data that is not enought to tune the vehicle because it doesnt contain the maps that you have to adjust to succeed your goal.Is that true? And what about checksums and reliability? Thanks for your time

Hi!

The MPPS is a good tool, it does not take so many ECU:s but for the most common european cars it is pretty good.
And regarding the checksums you have this list on their site http://amtcartech.com/wp-content/upload ... arlist.pdf
As you first tool you can choose between the MPPS, byteshooter and the Kess-v2 from alientech, they are all great tools with a reasonable low price

Like someone said above you can be abit limited with mpps, the new mpps v18 does do a lot more cars and can access immobiliser data etc.
Definitely worth the money. I also have a kess v2, also a great tool
