How to remove immo and key adaptation

Mercedes ECU A0285458032

Postby Sisbarro » Wed Jun 08, 2016 6:16 pm

Guys please I need some help. I have read and read and read and I can not find anywhere the immo eeprom/chip id for my ECU. This is the car that my late son drove. He was just 21 and just passed very recently. I was driving home one day and it just stopped running. I took it to a dealership out of desperation try to just keep it and they are not sure what might be wrong with it. They believe it is the ECU. I would love to keep the car but I can not afford another ECU for it is more then the car is worth.

It is a 2000 Mercedes C230 with ecu #A028-545-8032. I have read many forums and post and no where can I find anyone that can tell me what the immo chip id is. I have read that I can switch it from my old ECU top a new/used one and I am willing to try just about anything.... Please correct me if I am wrong...

when you swap the ecu with used ecu, you need to renew the ecu and adapting ecu with das, otherwise you can swap immo eeprom inside the ecu board

Hi,
the right way to solve your car is to diagnose the reason why your car strikes to work...
To believe it is the ECU... :o what will you make when with another ECU the situation is the same... :wtf:
M8 take your car to some one who knows to diagnose a "none starter"...
For this kind of description from you are so much reason possible...

[quote="Allen"]Hello, you tell me the specific models to facilitate it? We know the specific models, in order to better help you solve your problem

Allen - It is a 2001 C230 Kompressor... The ECM part/model number is A0285458032. Is that what you need?
I have a used ECM from the junkyard with the same part/model number. I read that you can change out the immo chip so the immobilizer will work. I just do not know the chip number/ID so I can change from the old to the new/used ECM.

Jocasfe - I have already taken it to the dealer and they seem to think it is the ECM. I new one cost more then the car, That is why I want to change the immobilizer chip from my old ECM to a new/used one.

So this pic is the chip I need to change? This is my immobilizer chip?
Is this pic the HC11E9 chip or another that needs to be changed?
The reason I am asking is when I read about switching chips, and if they had pics of the chip, the chip seemed to always be a 8 legged chip.

I just got the courage to try this. I used chip quick and removed the chip. I installed it on new computer and still no luck.... Does anyone have any other idea? This is the right chip?

wich key you have ? With infrared or with metal blade?
If you have a key with metal blade try to syncro key
in less 10 second make this
ignition on, ignition off, push one time buton and red green led on mirror blink, push second time buton and after ignition on
