Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to disable the EGR and related warnings on my ECU.

I've swapped a 1.6 16v BCB into my Audi A2 and kept the 1.4 BBY ECU.

The Polo GTI inlet / TB has no EGR provision, so the EGR has been removed and the engine light now comes on. Refitting it isn't possible.

ECU label: VW 036 906 034 CA, BENZIN 4MV 004, Marelli 61600.690.05, 31IBE025C, IAW4MV.CA

A race tuner is remapping it. He's never worked on this ECU and says finding the EGR setting is a needle in a haystack. I want to find him some info that will help.

Can anyone help with:

1. Where the EGR enable and EGR fault check settings sit in the 4MV software?
2. An EGR-off file for any 4MV version that he can compare against my stock file?
3. Whether the control and the fault checks need switching off separately?

I don't have mapping tools myself.
