Let's melt some pistons!

Postby MartiniBB » Tue Sep 29, 2020 2:36 pm

Hey there, introductions are mandatory, so let's get typing

My name's Martien, 25 y/o and from the Netherlands
I've been working on cars for over 10 years now and got my mechanics degree when I was 20
My first job was as a tire changer, on paper, while in reality I was working as a learning mechanic, doing alignments, and engineswaped my bosses hot rod
Then I went on to work at a local old skool speedshop for two and a half year, learning about engines, heads, carbs and some restauration work, designing and making custom parts, basicly becoming a hotrodder
After that I started restoring old mostly euro cars, and working on old (mostley diesel) offroaders and modifying them (Less custom work, more off the shelf parts)
Right now I'm learning about ECU's and how to tune them
Outside, I got my test-mule, a Opel Astra with the z16xe engine, ready to have its pistons molten by my tuning skills

Well, I guess that's most of my (interesting) story in just a few scentences
Now the time has come to learn!
