Laptop died while flashing Edc15v. Cannot get it to recover.

Postby BramanteIndustries » Fri Apr 03, 2015 10:46 pm

As the title says, flashing my car via obd my laptop died. I've been trying to get it into boot mode with no success. This is all through the car. Will I have better luck doing a bench flash and how would I go about doing so. Thanks.

This is my daily driver btw... HELP.

if you try with mpps at generic menu and put pin 24 to ground befor conecting power suply and you cannot write the only way to recover is to desolder the flash 29f400 and write it on a external programmer , good luck mate

Remove 29f400 from motherboard put it in external programmer like minipro xeltec willem welon etc write your 512kb file in it and that's it , solder back and start the beast

Minipro has 40 slots. 29f400 has 44 pads. How does this work??

Got the correct unit and adapter, along with a fresh chip, re flashed and installed everything. Started right up as if nothing ever happened
