Peugeot 207 1.4 HDI DV4C 8HR 2010 ECU: EDC17C10
I'm currently getting the following DTC's P11B3, P14A3, P11B2, which are all EGR related, they wont clear, so I'm guessing the EGR valve is goosed.
If were to do an "EGR delete" from the ECU and then blank it off, would it stop them DTCs from returning?
The reason I ask is because I had an experience about 8 years ago on a Peugeot 206 1.4 HDI DV4TD 8HX 2006, where by the EGR valve was faulty, and the DTC would not clear keeping the MIL on, as I wanted to blank off the EGR valve as I always do I decided to do a P-Code/DTC delete from the ECU using software to copy the ECU map, delete that specific EGR P-Code then reflash it, but from memory that wasn't the issue resolved and it was the faulty EGR causing the issue still, I had revert back to the old ECU map then fit a known working EGR valve, clear the DTC's then, do the P-Code/DTC delete again, not had any issues with it since, we still have the car and its going strong!!
So my question is, If I were to go down a similar route on the 207, but this time and do an actual "EGR Delete" and not the EGR specific fault codes delete, would that eliminate the EGR from the system and take the EGR specific fault codes with it, leaving me to just blank it off?
Thanks in advance
