Improving a Fiat Stilo 1.9JTD 8v - 115bhp

Postby jmr600 » Sun Nov 04, 2012 1:02 am

hi all,

Since a very long time, I was following and reading some of your topics trying to learn more and understand some aspects of the software contained in the ECU's.
In that way, I bought a galleto 1250 and I did some modifications in my wife's car (F. Stilo 1.9 JTD 8v -115BP) with not bad results, although I would improved it, because the engine check lights up while driving carefully at about 2500RPM in some occassions, thing that does not occurs when you drives harder.
If somebody would check it, I can send both the OE and the modified file to have a look and disscuss your suggestions about what I did wrong.

;) ;) ;)

Hi,
I tried to upload the OE and the tuned files but I have a system message like this "The extension 9 jtd 115 -std- is not allowed", I type all the files where is necessary, I tried to avoid special caracthers but it still the same.

would somebody help me to understand what I'm doing bad?

Put the files in one folder. Make a rar or zip file and then you can upload them on the forum.

Now I think it works, here is the OE file and the modified one
You do not have permissions to view the files yet. You have to be registered and you have to make at least 3 quality / unique posts.

Rail pressure setpoint out rail pressure sensor range, faked duration maps, lot of maps left untouched ... wouldn't try to flash the file.

+1

Duration map has to stay stock, only added new columns and properly calculated to new values.
